Halloween Fun!

Halloween was quite a busy day! Sara had 2 different costumes and a Halloween outfit, a parade at school, trick or treating and a block party at night. We started with a parade where the kids at Sara's school march down the road to a nursing home and visit all the residents there. Then Sara enjoyed her first year of trick-or-treating in the neighborhood and discovered the lollipop! Maya and Grandmas stayed back at the house to hand out candy. After trick-or-treating we went to a block party where Sara got to run around with tons of other kids. What a fun Halloween!

Ready for Winter!

Sara loves her new hat and mittens so much she didn't want to take them off. So we read books and went to bed in them. We're ready for winter!

Sara turns 2!

We went to the beach for the weekend to celebrate Sara's 2nd birthday. She had a blast with her friends Palmer & Nicholas. All of the Grandma's came too. Maya just hung out and watched all of the craziness. It was a lot of fun.

Sara and Maya

Sara loves being a big sister! She is really helpful with Maya, loves to give her the paci (or shove it in her mouth) and gives lots of hugs and kisses all day. She is very gentle with her little sister. When we brought Maya home Sara just looked at her and said, "Hi Maya" and then went off to play, like she had been here the entire time. It was very cute.

Our Little Helper

Sara is quite the little helper these days. We have her changing diapers, feeding the cat, washing windows and even doing the dishes. What a big helper she is with her new little sister here!

Maya Ann Lindeblad

Maya Ann was born on June 30th at 10:49am, weighing 7 pounds, 10 ounces and 19-1/4 inches long. We are just now updating our family site. You will still fins all of our family pictures and notes here and for more specific updates about Maya's health visit our Care Pages site.

Easter Fun!

At first Sara wasn't sure of all the talking bunnies and ducks but later she danced all around the house with them. Her new boyfriend Ricky came over to play too...its already starting with the boys!

Sara's 1st Egg Hunt!

Sara enjoyed her first egg hunt on Saturday. She did pretty well and collected 5 eggs. Then she realized it was easier to just take the eggs right out of the other baskets. We also enjoyed dinner with friends and family at Dad & Sue's on Sunday...Sara was the hit of the day in her new dress and little Ricky couldn't keep his hands off of her!

Christmas in Miami

Christmas in Miami

We had a fun and exciting trip to Miami to be with our family for the Christmas holiday. Sara loved playing in the pool and especially loved the outings to the playground in the 8o degree weather! We jumped in the pool with no fear. We climbed the jungle gym and flew down the slide without a second thought. Sara played with her twin cousins and even tired to feed them (with her toy bottle). Lana and Riley are about 7 months now and just getting bigger and more adorable by the minute. Soon they will be running around with Sara too. We spent Christmas day at Grandma's and Buddy's house with Jen, Jim and the girls and the entire Chiu family plus Grandpa too. It was a fun-filled day and Sara enjoyed opening all of the presents and eating a delicious dinner prepared by daddy. We also enjoyed time with our friends Jasmine (16 months) and Leah (2 years) at Scott and Susan's house. Sara has learned to give kisses and now wants to kiss everyone...especially grandma! The best part of the entire trip for Sara was spending lots of fun time time with Grandma and Buddy every day. It was so hard to leave beautiful Miami but we'll be back again soon! Check out some of the photos from our trip!
